Georgina Heritage Advisory Committee

That the June 2, 2026 meeting agenda be approved as presented.

That the Minutes of the meeting held on April 28, 2026 be approved as presented.

That the Committee receive correspondence from Michael Smith, owner of 32 River Street.

That the Georgina Heritage Advisory Committee withdraw changes reflected in Resolution No. GHAC-2026-0011 from the April 28, 2026 meeting.

That the Georgina Heritage Advisory Committee formally recommends that Council approve the draft bylaws listed on pages 15-19 of the agenda, as amended by Mr. Drozd.

That the Georgina Heritage Advisory Committee accept the plaque wording for the Jackson's Point Marine Railway, with inclusion that the property is listed as designated; and allow Staff to finalize the wording subject to consultation with Mr. Williamson.

The Georgina Heritage Advisory Committee requests to Council, 6 1. That the Town implement a heritage grant program starting in 2027 generally as set out in section 2.3 of this report and; 2. That the Town implement a heritage property tax reduction in 2028 generally as set out in section 3.3 of this report and; 3. That Mr. Morgan's report be attached to this submission to Council.

That the Georgina Heritage Advisory Committee recommends that if the Municipality decides that the property be sold, that it be sold conditional upon conservation of the Elm Grove School House; and requests that if the property is not sold, that the Town provide necessary maintenance on the Elm Grove School House.

That the Georgina Heritage Advisory Committee adjourned at 8:46 p.m.
