To receive the overview of activities undertaken by the Economic Development Advisory Committee and the overview of the Economic Development and Tourism Strategy. 1. a) Karyn Stone advised the terms of reference available for the Economic Development Advisory Committee. Karyn provided an overview of the expectations of the committee and what the role of the board is. b) Karyn Stone provided an overview of the new Economic Development and Tourism Strategic Plan that will be coming to Council for approval in early 2024. This strategy aligns with the new Corporate Strategic Plan and will guide the objectives and goals of the department for the next 5 years.
