That the September 23, 2025 agenda be approved as presented.

3 That the Minutes of the meeting held on April 1, 2025 be approved as presented.

That the presentation from the Lake Simcoe Region Conservation Authority on the Ecological Health of Lake Simcoe, be received.

1. That the presentation regarding an in-home food waste diversion program from Food Cycle Science, be received. 4 2. That the Georgina Environmental Advisory Committee requests that Council direct staff to investigate the feasibility of the food cycle science program utilizing models from Newmarket and King City; and upon conclusion of such investigation, report back to Council on the possibility of a pilot program.

That the presentation regarding the Georgina Water Treatment Plant Mussel Control System and Site Works Project from York Region, be received.

That the Georgina Environmental Advisory Committee will conduct virtual meetings for the duration of the term; and will conduct one annual meeting in the hybrid (in person) method on December 2, 2025. 5

That the Notice of 2026 Non-Profit Grant Program be received for information.

That the item regarding the Climate Action Plan Release be received for information.

1. That the presentation regarding the Tree Preservation and Compensation Policy Update be received; 2. That the Georgina Environmental Advisory Committee endorse the Tree Preservation and Compensation Policy for consideration by Council.
